Welcome to HollowGlen!

I began this blog for several reasons: to write about things I enjoy and take pleasure from, to help others with information I have found along the way, and to give myself an excuse to buy pretty fabric and bake cupcakes push myself to find new ways to express creativity.

It also serves as a springboard for my Etsy shop by the same name, where you can find crayon wallet patterns and custom packaging for photographers, videographers, wedding favors, and gifts.

I am a stay-at-home mom to my 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, living in Southern California with my husband of five years. My interests range from baking and cooking to sewing, creating homemade gifts, saving money or spending wisely, simple living, finding new (and inexpensive) activities for toddlers, taking care of our home and recharging my batteries with little treats that are just for me. Ultimately, you’ll find some of all of that in this blog.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you come back often!

Totally cool. I’m going to try the bean counter. Looking forward to your tips on homemade gifts.

hello! I am Cherryl from the Philippines. I’ve been following your blog account about kaitlyn and I check from time to time if a new story is posted. Your stories about your daughter have given me much inspiration especially in dealing with my baby’s condition ( she also had strabismus and was operated just this Feb. of this year).I’m hoping that you’ll update your blog about kaitlyn. Thank you for your time.
